Every commissioned piece is fabricated in our own factory conveniently located ten minutes from Manhattan in Jersey City. DESIGN BRIEF
At our showroom you can view the quality of our work and see examples of previously made to order pieces. We will introduce you to our design team and discuss your project in detail including overall scale and dimensions. Samples such as woods, metal, fabrics and leather are used to help visualize the initial sketch or concept.

DEVELOPMENT
Dune will submit a proposal for the project and upon approval and receipt of a confirmed order we will proceed to the development stage.
If appropriate our team will then undertake a site visit and finalize material selections. Dune will then present you with a three dimensional color computer simulation depicting a scaled version of our new furniture design showing proportions and finishes.
There will then be the opportunity to amend the proposed designs if necessary. Once they meet your approval we will work on the technical drawings to provide accurate dimensions, details and specifications. After your review and acceptance, those drawings will be sent to our factory to build from.

IMPLEMENTATION
We will supervise the production of your furniture with diligent project management and high quality standards throughout the building process. From the careful selection of the materials to the handcrafting and applied specialty finishes on each individual piece.
The approximate lead-time for a Dune commissioned piece can be 12-14 weeks from signed drawings to completion.

DELIVERY
Locally we can arrange for your furniture to be delivered, unwrapped and installed by members of the Dune team. For all furniture being shipped abroad we will carefully pack and crate your pieces ourselves and obtain a shipping quotation from one of our partner worldwide freight specialists to help coordinate the delivery to its final destination.
